Resident 18 Yrs. Dies In California
Four Corners — Mrs. Jessie Royce, for nearly 18 years a resident of this community, died Wednesday of last week in California [Los Angeles], according to word received here by relatives. Mrs. Royce was the mother of the late Mrs. Howard Witham and a grandmother of Mrs. Leo Ramus. She lived with the Withams until they moved to Algona a few years ago, and went to California about three months ago to make her home with another daughter, Mary, shortly after the death of Mrs. Witham. She was a member of the Four Corners Mothers and Daughters club for many years. Burial was in California.
