Sadie Frances Bahn Plasterer
15 March 1885 ---- 1 October 1950

Mrs. Walter Plasterer Funeral Wednesday
Mrs. Walter Plasterer, 65, died Saturday at the Brook's Nursing Home where she had been a patient for a few weeks. She is survived by one son George Plasterer of Waterloo, two grandsons and two sisters. Mr. Plasterer died in January of this year. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Walter Ross. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Sadie Frances Bahn, daughter of Samuel F. and Amanda Stare Bond, was born March 15, 1885 near York, Pennsylvania. She attended public schools at York and the St. Mark's Lutheran church, in which she was confirmed. As a young woman she was employed by a silk mill until the time of her marriage. She was united in marriage to Walter Conrad Plasterer, August 5, 1913. They lived in Alberta, Canada, for a year, moving to Eagle Grove, Iowa, in October of 1914 where their son George was born. They made their home in Eagle Grove until the time of death. Mrs. Plasterer passed away at 6:15 Sunday, October 1, 1950. Mr. Plasterer having preceded her in death January 3, 1950.

She is survived by her son George Bahn Plasterer of Waterloo, two grandsons Philip and Roger Plasterer of Waterloo, two sisters, Hettie Dietrich of Altoona, Pennsylvania, and Mazie Bupp of Huntington Park, California, besides other relatives and friends. Three brothers preceded her in death, they were Walter, William H. S., and Edward Bahn.
