Cloyd William Comstock was born Jan. 3, 1893 at Fairmont, Minn. His parents were Abraham and Abagall Comstock. At the age of seventeen he moved with his parents to Lehigh, Iowa and from there to Eagle Grove in 1914. He married Cassandra Bjornson
of Eagle Grove in 1915 and they had two sons, Meredith of Austin, Minn., and Bernerd of Clarion.

Besides his wife and sons he leaves to mourn, 3 brothers, Herman of Mason City, Sylvester of Webster City, and Edward of Eagle Grove and 2 sisters, Mrs. Ernie Kolowinski and Mrs. Chester Stephenson of Mason City. One brother, Dave of Idaho and his parents preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Methodist church of Eagle Grove. He was a kind and loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

HEART ATTACK IS FATAL TO C. W. COMSTOCK
Cloyd W. Comstock, 57, of 405 South Park, died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday morning about 9, in Kaplan's recreation parlor at the corner of Broadway and Commercial.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock in Wilson's Chapel. Rev. Harrison Dawes will have charge of the service and burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Comstock is survived by his wife and two sons, Meredith of Austin, Minnesota, and Robert of Clarion; also three brothers Edward of Eagle Grove, Herman of Mason City and Sylvester of Webster City, and two sisters Mrs. Chester Stevenson and Mrs. Ernest Kolwinska both of Mason City. For many years Mr. Comstock has been a dealer in used furniture in Eagle Grove carrying on his business at 405 S. Park. His death Tuesday
morning was sudden and unexpected.
