Eva Grace (Griffith) Christian Adams
26 March 1887 ---- 9 June 1972

Former resident is buried here
Graveside services were held Monday afternoon in Rose Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Eva Adams, 85, of Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge. Mrs. Adams died Friday at the Health Center at Friendship Haven. The funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday
in Fort Dodge at the Church of Christ with the minister Lyle Bartlett officiating.

Eva Griffith was born in Des Moines and came to Eagle Grove when she was an infant. She attended school there and married Lawrence Christian in 1906. They moved to Chicago, Ill. in 1928, returning to Eagle Grove in 1932. Mr. Christian died in 1959. Mrs. Adams moved to Friendship Haven following his death and was married there to Clarence Adams in 1980. Mr. Adams died in 1983. Attending the services were Mrs. Dallas Stapp and Mrs. Kathryn Shillington.

Services for Mrs. Eva Adams, 85, Friendship Haven, will be 3:30 p.m. Monday in Fort Dodge Church of Christ with Lyle Bartlett, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Friends may call at Bruce Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening. Mrs. Adams died yesterday at the Health Center, Friendship Haven.

Surviving are a son, Martin E. Christian, Hobe Sound, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Velita Vohaska, North Riverside Ill., seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Eva Griffith was born in Des Moines and came to Eagle Grove when she was an infant. She attended school there and married Lawrence Christian in 1905. They moved to Chicago, Ill. in 1928, returning to Eagle Grove in 1932. Mr. Christian died in 1959. Mrs. Adams moved to Friendship Haven following his death and was married there to Clarence Adams in 1960. Mr. Adams died in 1963. Memorials may be left to the Fort Dodge Church of Christ.
