Nancy Jane Miser Booth was born in Newcomber, Ohio, October 27, 1850, and departed this life on October 27, 1918, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sidney Wade, south of town. The deceased had been in poor health for more than ten years, but her fatal illness lasted four days.She is survived by five children who mourn the loss of one who was dear to them as mother is always dear. These children are W. M. Stewart, Encampment, Wyoming, John Stewart, Colfax, Iowa, George Stewart, Des Moines, Iowa, Anna Wade, Eagle Grove, Iowa; and Lucy Hinton, Colfax, Iowa.
Mrs. Booth was a member of the Baptist church of Kirksville, Mo. and had been a professing Christian for 40 years. How blessed are those who die in hope, of salvation. On account of sickness in the families of the relatives it was impossible to hp;d the usual funeral services. Only a brief service by Rev. Hugh F. Moore, was held at the grave in Rose Hill cemetery, Tuesday afternoon.
