CATHERINE CHRISTIAN
Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Christian are mourning the loss of their two-year old little daughter Catherine Angelina, who died at 6:30 o'clock on Sunday morning, October 27, 1918. The many friends of the parents are sympathizing with them in this, the first loss of this character which they have sustained. The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Christian of Alta, Iowa, were unable to be present. But the grandfather composed and sent the following message:"In Memory of Little Angie Christian"
Goodbye, litle sister
For the land of sweet repose.
We trust you to the care of angels
In that summer land of bliss.
Thank you dear little Angie
For your visit to such an earth as this.
You will wait our coming also
To the city of our God.
So we bid you sweet farewell
Till we meet each other there.Brief funeral services conducted by Rev. Hugh F. Moore were held from the home on Monday afternoon, after which interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
CARD OF THANKS
We wish in this manner to express our most hearty thanks to all those who expressed in any way their sympathy during the sickness and death of our little daughter.
