Leah Jane Finney Fossler
2 June 1833 ----- 8 August 1901

Mrs. S. Fossler received a stroke of apoplexy last Saturday, and has since been slowly failing. There is no hope of her recovery and it is improbable that she will last more than a few hours from this writing (Thursday.) All the family have been summoned and are present at her bedside, awaiting the inevitable. (Later.) Her death occurred at 1 p.m.
