December 18, 1896 --- December 8, 1933

Mrs. Herman McDaniel died at her home on South Cadwell avenue at 1 a. m. Friday morning. Mrs. McDaniel had been in poor health for several months and her passing was not expected. Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time of going to press.

Jessie Alberta Morgan, daughter of Joseph and Louisa Morgan was born on December 18, 1896, in Troy township and died at her home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, December 8, 1933, at the age of 36 years, 11 months and 10 days.

She was united in marriage to Herman McDaniel, at Elliot, N. D., in 1915. To them was born one daughter, Margaret, who preceded her in death on, November 28, 1930.

Mrs. McDaniel was baptized in the Methodist church as a child and was a faithful attendant and worker until the death of her daughter. Since then, because of poor health, she has felt unable to attend the services or take any active part in church work. She has made for herself a large circle of friends in the church and community. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge and of the Relief Corps.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Eli Baker of Woolstock, Iowa; Mrs. Howard Wickwire of Oaks, N. D., Mrs. Chas. Jaques of Hinton, Okla., also four brothers: Ernest Morgan of Renwick, Roy Morgan of Latimer, Ashel Morgan of Scranton and Robert Morgan of Eagle Grove. She also leaves a host of friends and neighbors who share with the family their deep sorrow.
