Kevin J. McCutcheon died on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at his home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 39.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, Eagle Grove; one daughter, Kari, at home; one son, Kolten, at home; parents, Robert and Patricia McCutcheon, Eagle Grove; one sister, Marcia Kressin, and husband, Robert, and their children, Kacey and Kyle, Mascoutah, Ill.; grandparents, Pat and Norma Brown, Eagle Grove; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Lorine McCutcheon.

Kevin John McCutcheon, the son of Robert and Patricia (Brown) McCutcheon, was born on July 18, 1962, in Clarion, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove, graduating from Eagle Grove High School in 1981, and then he attended Iowa Central Community College in Webster City, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Carol Smith on June 18, 1983, at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove, he worked at Fareway in Eagle Grove, Meredith/Neo Data in Clarion from 1984 to 1992, and then was employed by the Eagle Grove Community Schools. He retired in 2001, due to his health. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
