March 25, 1837 --- July 2, 1911

Hannah McKeener [McKeever] was born in Ireland, March 25, 1837, and departed this life July 2, 1911, at her home, aged 74 years, three months and seven days. She was united in marriage to Wm. McCombs Nov. 12, 1863. They went to Canada in 1864, and from there to Iowa City in 1866, from there to Webster City in 1883, then to this vicinity in 1900.

Five children were born to this union, one dying in infancy. The husband and four children, John McCombs of Webster City, Mrs. O. E. Hunt of Eagle Grove, Sam McCombs of Clarion, and Mrs. D. E. Thorpe of Clarion, are left to mourn her death. Other relatives attending the funeral: Kate McCombs and family of Webster City, Lee Kennedy and family of Kamrar, Frank McCombs and family of Blairsburg, W. T. McComb and family of Waterloo.

Mrs. McComb [McCombs] was confined to bed only a week, but her illness not considered serious until the last few days. For many years she had been in falling health but was brave and persevering to the end. She was a woman of quiet and gentle spirit.

She has finished her course; her labors are ended. Peace to her memory.

Mrs. McCombs was buried last Monday. She will be sorely missed by neighbors and friends
