William Kraft, 30, Died Friday at Farm Home

William Julius Kraft was born August 11, 1904 and died Friday afternoon, Sept. 7, 1934 at the age of 30 years and 27 days.

He was taken to the Mercy hospital at Fort Dodge on August 25 where he submitted to an operation from which he never recovered. He was brought home September 6, and passed away the following day.

Although suffering intensely during his illness, he was very patient, and trying his best to make the best of everything. He received the Lord’s Supper while in the hospital.

The deceased was baptized in infancy and was confirmed May 23, 1926. His parents preceded him in death, his father in October 1911, and his mother in March 1934. He leaves to mourn his departure, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Freda Hydecker, Walter and Carl, also four nephews and two nieces and many other relatives and friends.

William Kraft lived in this vicinity all his life, having live at the home place 27 years. He was of a quiet disposition, a kind and loving member of the family, and a good neighbor.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St Paul’s Lutheran church, the pastor, Rev. J. H. Reents, preaching the sermon. Burial was made at Elmwood cemetery.
