Passes Away at Her Home Almost Without Warning. Funeral Held Tuesday Afternoon.
Mrs. O. E. Hunt, 70, died in this city early Saturday morning. She had not been considered seriously ill and her death was entirely unexpected.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with Rev. J. R. Tumbleson in charge. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
Obituary
Mary McCombs was born Dec. 18, 1869 at Iowa City, Iowa. As a young girl she moved with her parents to Webster City, and later to Hardy. She was united in marriage to Osmund Ernest Hunt, Feb. 3rd, 1897. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Eagle Grove which has been their home since that time. To this union three children were born, Ralph of Minneapolis, Harold of Milwaukee, and Delbert of Aberdeen, South Dakota. The husband, the three sons and six grandchildren live to mourn their loss. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Hattie Thorpe of Milltown, Wis., and one brother, Sam McCombs of Des Moines.
Mrs. Hunt has been a faithful member of the Methodist church since 1908. Her entire life was devoted to her family, her home and her church. The sincere sympathy of all is extended the bereaved family.
