8 August 1882 ---- 20 April 1972

Grace G. Watne, 89, died April 20 at Mercy Hospital, Fort Dodge. Previously she was a resident of the Clapp Custodial Home.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Evangelical Lutheran church and burial was in the Goldfield cemetery.

The former Grace Stoakes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stoakes and she was born in Traer, Iowa. She was married to Rasmus Watne in 1958. Mr. Watne had a shoe repair business in Eagle Grove for many years before his death.
