Mrs. Floy Fryslie, 63, died at her home on West Broadway Thursday, March 22, following several months of serious illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday. March 24 in the Kastler Funeral home with the Rev. Roy Cox officiating Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

She is survived by her four children. Mrs. L. F. Schmied of Rawlins, Wyoming. M. H. Fryslie and Mrs. Richard Vilmain of Eagle Grove and Mrs. J. F. Rutz of Ottumwa, 11 grandchildren and three brothers.

She was preceded in death by her husband J. F. Fryslie, her parents and five brothers.

Obituary

Mrs. Floy Fryslie, daughter of Charles L. and Jennie N. Jaques, was born in Franklin county, Iowa, April 14, 1892. She was united in marriage to Joseph Franklin Fryslie Feb. 19, 1913. To that union four children, one son and three daughters were born. They made their home near Popejoy, Iowa, for 26 years. In 1939 the family moved to Goldfield. Since 1940 the family home has been in Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Fryslie was stricken with a fatal illness in October, 1955 and has been in her home since then, her children attending her.

She is survived by her four children Mrs. L. F. Schmied of Rawlins, Wyoming, M. H. Fryslie and Mrs. Richard Vilmain of Eagle, Grove, and Mrs. J. F. Rutz of Ottumwa, eleven grandchildren and three brothers Wilson Jaques of Iowa Falls, Walter Jaques of Portland, Oregon and Wilmer Jaques of Clarion.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and five brothers, Warren, Worthy, Wesley, Watson and Warner.

She was a member of the Methodist church of Eagle Grove. Her family and her friends were her life's most cherished treasurers. Even through her prolonged illness her concern was not for herself but for others.
