Norma M. Fraser, 80, of 1800 E. Thirty-first St. died of circulatory ailments Wednesday at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, where she had been convalescing the past 13 years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery there. Survivors include her husband, James B. of Des Moines.

Norma Maybeth Klein was born May 18, 1903, in Iowa County, near Marengo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Albert and Nellie Umbarger Klein. Norma received her education in the Eagle Grove Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Dr. James B. Fraser of Des Moines at the Methodist Church in Eagle Grove on June 1, 1941. The couple returned to Des Moines to make their home where Dr. Fraser is a practicing physician.

Norma had been in the Tompkins Memorial Health Center, Fort Dodge, since 1971, and died there on February 8, 1984 at the age of 80 years, eight months and 20 days.

She is survived by her husband, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Norma was a member of the Polk County Medical Society Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mildred Middleton.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. in the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Hall, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove, officiated, and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery,
Eagle Grove.
