ELLIS, WORLEY, COX, CINNAMON

25 January 1860 ----- 15 May 1943

Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon for Mr. Enos Ellis, who passed away early Saturday morning at the Hotel Texhoma, where he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. G. O. Worley. Mr. Ellis leaves to mourn his going three daughters, Mrs. G. O. Worley of Texhoma, Mrs. George Cox of Parks, Arizona and Mrs. Cinnamon of Garber, Oklahoma. All were present at the funeral, which was held at the Methodist Church by his pastor. Rev. Thompson, assisted by Rev. Anderson, pastor of the Baptist Church. Mr. Ellis was 80 years of age, and a pioneer of Texas county. Pallbearers were Messrs. Jerome Goss, Herman Gens, John Rogers, Bill McCarney, Lenville Johnson and Wes Harvey. Honorary pallbearers were Messrs. E. Lusk, C. D. Lee, Charlie Lusk and George Batterson. Among many beautiful floral offerings he was laid to rest in the Texhoma Cemetery.
