She spent her early life in Canton, and when about sixteen years of age, came to Iowa, making her home for a number of years with her uncle and aunt, the late Amos McKay and wife, south of Manchester. On October 17, 1879, she was united in marriage to Cassius M. Crosier, and to this union were born five children. The husband died on December 21, 1897, and two daughters have preceded the mother in death. Lucy E., on December 21, 1904, and Mrs. F. W. Stice, on December 2nd, 1916. The surviving children are W. M. Crosier of Coggon, F. T. Crosier of Astoria, Oregon, and Gladys Crosier of Eagle Grove. Mrs. Crosier is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Angeline Whitehead of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Anna Tanquary and F. B. Tanquary of Canton, Illinois.

Death came to Mrs. Crosier without warning and she passed away before any of her family could be summoned. Heart failure was the cause of her death. She suffered a great sorrow in the loss of her daughter, Mrs. F. W. Stice, at Eagle Grove, last week, and had returned home from her daughter's funeral the day before she was suddenly called to the great beyond.
The family have the sincere sympathy of their friends in their double bereavement.
