April 23, 1845--- November 15, 1900

Joseph Morgan died last Thursday and was laid to rest in the Troy cemetery Saturday. The family have the sympathy of the community.

Transcriber’s Note: According to the New York, Town Clerks’ Registers of Men Who Served in the Civil War, ca 1861-1865, Joseph Morgan was born 23 Apr 1845, in Mountville, New York, his father was Joseph P. Morgan and Mother was Elvira Miller. Joseph Morgan died Nov. 15, 1900 at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 25 days. Iowa, Marriages, 1851-1900, Joseph Morgan married Louisa Floyd 21 Nov 1871 in Hamilton County, Iowa.
