Edith Arlene Reuvers was born December 15, 1923, the daughter of John Henry and Anna Rossquist [Rosquist] Reuvers.

She graduated from Eagle Grove High School with the Class of 1941.

On March 21, 1950 she was united in marriage to Clifford Morgan of Eagle Grove at the Methodist Church. They made their home in Eagle Grove for 19 years, moving to Clarion in 1969.

While living in Eagle Grove she was employed as a bookkeeper for Oldson Plumbing and Heating for a number of years.

Arlene died at her home in Clarion on Friday, June 8 after a long illness. At the time of her death she had attained the age of 66 years, five months, and 13 days.

She is survived by her husband Clifford of Clarion, Iowa; son, Robert of Crozier, Va.; and five grandchildren; her mother, Anna Reuvers of Eagle Grove; sisters, Beverly (Mrs. Marvin) Rogness of Thor, Iowa, and Janice Frana of Eagle Grove; and many relatives and friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Roger Reuvers.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clarion, Church Circle, and a Sunday School teacher, and was active in planning her school reunions, and was Bowling Association secretary along with husband, Clifford.

Funeral services for Edith Arlene Morgan, 66, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 11, 1990, at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Jerald Swanberg, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Clarion, officiated, and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa. Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of services.
