Clifford Morgan, 76, of Eagle Grove died Tuesday, November 8, 1994 in his home.

Visitation was Tuesday, November 15 from 4-8 p.m.

Services were held Wednesday, November 16, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove with the Reverend Charles Kellogg officiating. Burial was at Rosehill Cemetery.

Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.

Clifford Edward Morgan, 76, died on Tuesday, November 7 [8], at his home in Clarion.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 16, at the Eagle Grove United Methodist Church. The Reverend Charles Kellogg of the Clarion United Methodist Church officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. The organist was Barb Schultz. Willim Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.

Clifford Edward Morgan was born on May 21, 1918, the son of John and Sophia Rasmussen Morgan, at Goldfield. He was educated in the Goldfield School system and graduated from Goldfield High School in 1937. Following High School, he entered the United States Army on August 13, 1941, at Fort Des Moines and was later honorably discharged on November 20, 1945, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, with the rank of Tech Sergeant.

He was united in marriage to Edith Arlene Reuvers of Eagle Grove on May 21, 1950, at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove for 19 years following their marriage. They moved to Clarion in 1969.

Cliff was employed by Iowa Public Service in Clarion for many years prior to his retirement. Arlene died on June 8, 1990.

Clifford leaves in passing his son, Robert Morgan and wife Kerin Ann of Richmond, Virginia; eight grandchildren; brother, John Morgan Jr. of Eagle Grove; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers, Dennis and Howard.

He was a past member of the Eagle Grove United Methodist Church, and a current member of the Clarion United Methodist Church. Clifford enjoyed golfing and horse shoe pitching and most of all, bowling. In 1961 he won states singles championship.

Clifford E. Morgan was born on May 21, 1918, the son of John and Sophia Rasmussen Morgan, at Goldfield, Iowa. He was employed by Iowa Public Service in Clarion for many years prior to his retirement. His wife died on June 8, 1990.

Clifford E. Morgan died on Tuesday, November 7 [8], 1994 at his home in Clarion. He had attained the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

Survivors include his son, Robert Morgan and wife, Kerin Ann, Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren; brother, John Morgan, Jr., Eagle Grove; and his nieces and nephews.
