6 December 1858 ---- 13 July 1947

Elias L. Lowmiller, formerly of this city, died at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Allen of Menagha, Minn. His death came after a short illness on Sunday, July 13.

He and Mrs. Lowmiller came to Iowa in 1901 and resided on a farm east of Eagle Grove for a short time before moving into town. After the death of Mrs. Lowmiller in 1933 he went to live at his daughter's home in Minnesota.

Obituary

Elias Lawrence Lowmiller, born in German, Ohio, Dec. 6, 1858, son of John and Catharine Lowmiller.

He was united in marriage to Laura Bell Bolin at Wapella, Ill., Nov. 19, 1884. No children were born to this union. He moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa, in 1901 and resided there until 1933 when he moved to Menagha, Minn., to live with his adopted daughter, Mrs. C. R. Allen.

Mr. Lowmiller was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Bell, who died Feb. 14, 1933. His death came Sunday morning July 13, 1947.
