Death Occurred Saturday at the Home of His Mother, Mrs. John Robinson.

The funeral services for Dr. Chas. E. Robinson occurred Monday afternoon. A short service was held at the home of Mrs. John Robinson, mother of the deceased, after which the remains were taken to the Methodist church where the concluding rites were observed. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Dr. Robinson grew to manhood in Eagle Grove and was educated in the Eagle Grove schools. He left the John Robinson farm just across the road from Greenwood Park about four years ago and with his wife entered the Palmer School of Chiropractic at Davenport. After graduation they located in Windom, Minn. Mrs. Robinson died about a year ago. Dr. Robinson's death was due largely to an attack of influenza several years ago from which he never fully recovered.

There is genuine sorrow among the doctor's old friends and neighbors over his passing. The sympathy of all la extended the bereaved relatives.

Charles Edward Robinson was born in Clifford, Mich., Nov. 20, 1883 [Nov. 6, 1882]. When he was one year old, his parents moved to Boone, Iowa, where they lived till Charles was five years old. They then moved to Eagle Grove and settled on a farm six miles east of town. Charles attended school here and when he was 18 years old he went to Council Bluffs, where he entered the restaurant business. He continued in this for two years and then returned to Eagle Grove.

On May 26, 1903, he was united in marriage, to Dorothy King of Eagle Grove. For five years they farmed two miles east of town. They then moved to Chicago, where Charles served for seven years as a brakeman on a passenger train. After another term of four years on the Eagle Grove farm they went to Davenport, and took the graduate course in the School of Chiropractic and then went to Windom, Minn., to begin their practice together. Mrs. Robinson died and was buried from this place on Feb. 13, 1925. Mr. Robinson returned to his work in Windom and after several collapses he came to Eagle Grove for rest and treatment, but his failure was so rapid that it was soon learned that his was a hopeless case. He passed away at the home of his mother on Jan. 30, 1926, at the age of 42 years, 2 months and 10 days.

Mr. Robinson joined the Methodist church on Jan. 9, 1916, where he has held his membership till the time of his death.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. John Robinson, of this place, and the following brothers and sisters: George, of Ogden, Utah, Mrs. Ernest Reese of Casper, Wyo., Will of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Floyd Inman of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Mrs. Frank Jepson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Alfred of Chicago, Ill.; Albert, Mrs. Robert Walrod and Mrs. Ben Borwey of Eagle Grove, and Herbert of Peterson, Iowa.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church and the sermon was preached by W G. Muhleman. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.

World War I Draft Registration Card, 1917-1918, Charles Edward Robinson was born 6 Nov 1882, he was 35 years of age, living in Eagle Grove, Wright, Iowa, card was signed and dated, Sept. 12, 1918. Charles Edward Robinson, Feb. 1, 1926, Wright County Death Certificate, records his date of birth as Nov. 6, 1882, date of death as Jan. 30, 1926, age 43 years, 3 months and 24 days, his cause of death was Acute Miliary Tuberculosis.
