George Anthony Borwey was born March 18, 1884, at Jewell, Iowa. He died August 12, 1921, at Wallace, Idaho, being at the time of his death 37 years, 4 months and 25 days old. He was a member of the United Lutheran church of this city, being confirmed when he was 14 years of age by Rev. H. O. Holm, who at that time was pastor of the United Lutheran church of this city. He was educated in our schools and was graduated with the class of 1901. He was a member of the W. O. W. and Elks lodges.

He began learning the drug business in the Smallpage pharmacy and graduated from the Pharmacy department of Highland Park College with the class of 1903. Since 1907 he has been a resident of Wallace, Idaho, where he was united in marriage with Miss Blossom Hyde of Spokane, Wash., in 1907. During the intervening years he was employed by the Wallace Drug Co., until he bought a store of his own several years ago. He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his wife, his mother, and brother, Benjamin, of this city, his father and two brothers having preceded him to the Great Beyond.

He died suddenly of heart failure. Mrs. Borwey was in Spokane at the time of his death, expecting to undergo a minor operation on her throat. Mr. Borwey was not feeling very well at the store and went home and was found dead in his bed that evening by one of his clerks.

The sincere sympathy of all is extended the bereaved relatives.
