Betty E. Conlon Brown
27 February 1927 ---- 14 February 1988

memorial Mass for Betty E. Brown, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Eloy. Mrs. Brown died Feb. 14, 1988 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 27, 1927 in Iowa. Mrs. Brown lived in the area approximately 28 years at her home in Arizona City. She was instrumental in starting the Arizona City Chamber of Commerce and the Community Council. At one time, she ran the Arizona City Federal Credit Union and was a member and past officer of the Arizona City Volunteer Fire Department women's auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Boots" Brown, who died in 1980.

Survivors include three daughters, Caroline Brock, Cathy Wheeler, and Roseanne Goodwill, all of Arizona City; one son, Jeff, of Casa Grande; two brothers, H.S. Conlon and John D. Conlon, both of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sisters, Donna Doughty and Dorothy Ostbloom, both of Fort Dodge; and 10 grandchildren.

Burial is to be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Casa Grande.
