Jon Edward Rowen II, son of Jon E and Janice P. Bygness Rowen, was stillborn at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge on Wednesday, November 26, 1980. Funeral graveside services were held on Saturday, November 29, 1980 at 11 a. m., at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Rev. Don Callen, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Visitation was held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove on Friday.

Surviving are the parents, Jon and Janice Rowen of Eagle Grove; the grandparents, Harrold and Roberta Bygness of Goldfield and John and Mary Rowen of rural Eagle Grove. The great-grandmothers, Mrs. Hazel Bygness of Goldfield; Mrs. Margery Rowen of Clarion and Mrs. Ruth Newcomb of Eagle Grove.
