Services for Ralph R. "Mac" MacMahon, 72, of 837 Williston Ave, Waterloo were Monday, March 28 at Garden View Chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. He died on Thursday, March 24 at Schoitz Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 3, 1910 at Marshalltown, son of Joseph W. and Helena Hoppe MacMahon. He attended the Eagle Grove schools. He and Vevla V. Griffith of Goldfield were married Oct. 19, 1936 at Webster City. He was employed in the shipping and repair department at John Deere for 31 years, retiring April 1, 1971.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Donald R. and Dean A., both of Washburn; a brother, Joseph of Badger; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Tokheim of Thor; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Valley Hospice Unit at Schoitz Medical Center, Waterloo.
