Grace McCormick Watkins
5 July 1884 ---- 1 April 1966

Funeral services for Grace Watkins were held Monday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roschen Chapel with the Rev. Jerald Jackson officiating. Interment was in the Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Watkins was born on July 5, 1884 in Decatur, Ill., daughter of John and Laura Murphy McCormick.

She attended school in Illinois and was a member of the First Methodist church. She lived in Le Sueur for the past three years. Mrs. Watkins passed away Friday, April 1, at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Watkins in 1927. Survivors include two sons, Howard M. Watkins, Cedar Falls, and Claire E. Watkins, Seattle, Wash., one daughter, Bernice (Mrs. E. V. Koestler) Le Sueur; two brothers, Fred McCormick, Elmore and Gene McCormick of Ft. Dodge, 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
