HILDA H. RENGSTORF
Funeral services for Hilda H. Rengstorf, 89, Humboldt, were held Saturday, March 30, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. She died Wednesday, March 27, at the Care Center North in Humboldt, following a lengthy illness. The Sievers - Laufersweiler Funeral Home of Humboldt was in charge of the arrangements, with the Rev. Wayne Knolhoff officiating. Casketbearers were Richard Lockwood, Steve Lockwood, Nancy Whittlesey, Kathy Parham, Linda Gilbranson, Michael Rengstorf, and Peggy Rengstorf, all grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Ilene Lockwood of Humboldt and Lola M. Gilbranson of Eagle Grove; one son, Delmer Rengstorf of Porterville, California; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one brother, George True of Burlington, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Henry, in 1969.

Hilda H. True was born Oct. 27, 1901, at Ribb Lake, Wisconsin, and as a child moved to Coffey County, Kansas, where she attended schools. In 1919, she married Henry C. Rengstorf at Breeman, Kansas. They lived in Breeman and later moved to Maryville, Kansas. In 1940, they moved to Wright County. She later moved to Humboldt and in 1985 entered the Humboldt Care Center North.
