Mrs. Boughton
Mrs. Emma C. Boughton, 85, 974 Armistead Drive, Hamilton, died at 7:25 a.m. at Fort Hamilton- Hughes Hospital. Born in Kendall County, Ill. to Richard and Mary McKinney Belfield, she owned and operated a dry cleaning shop in Eagle Grove, Iowa, before moving to Hamilton in 1956. She was married to Howard E. Johnson, who died in 1939, and to Orville Boughton, who died in 1943. She was of the West Side Church of Christ.

Mrs. Boughton is survived by a son; Arnold E. Johnson, Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Mrs. Luke (Merle) Richter, Hamilton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Patricia Kniel, Quincy, Ill.;, two brothers, Raymond Belfield and Leslie Belfield, both of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three grandsons; four step grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Services for Mrs. Boughton will be at 10 a.m. at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. Burial, Rose Cemetery. No visitation.
