Funeral rites for John Reynolds, 67, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral home. Rev. Dale Brown officiated. Mr. Reynolds died Sunday evening at Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge, where he had been a patient but a few days following a heart attack.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Jessie, two daughters, Mrs. David Shaw of Reseda, Calif., and Mrs. Lloyd Varney of Los Angeles, Calif., three grandchildren, two brothers, Claude Reynolds of Dallas, Texas and Leonard Reynolds presently of Viet Nam.

Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Reynolds was a long time employee of the Chicago and North Western railroad and retired about two years ago.
