Jack Reuvers died Monday night at Veterans Hospital, Des Moines, where he had been a patient for 32 days.

He had been seriously ill for the past year.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Methodist church in charge of Rev. Lyle Lieder. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Reuvers is survived by his wife, and three daughters, Mrs. Marvin Rogness of Humboldt, Mrs. Clifford Morgan and Mrs. Adolph Frana of this city.

Other survivors are nine grandchildren, three brothers, Harry Reuvers of Boyden, Jake of Sanborn, and Tom Reuvers of Long Beach, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Mince Oordt of Hospers and Mrs. John Van Roekel of Sheldon.

Mr. and Mrs. Reuvers only son, Roger, was fatally injured in an automobile accident Aug 4, 1946.

Jack Reuvers was born in Alton, Iowa, and was employed by the Chicago and North Western Railroad for 51 years. He was cashier in the Eagle Grove office when lie retired at the age of 65.

He was a past commander and post adjutant of Clarence Shurtz Post American Legion, a member of The First Methodist Church, Odd Fellows, Patriots Militant, and the Encampment.

He was preceded in death by his son, his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Mr, and Mrs. Marvin Rogness attended funeral services for J. H. Reuvers, father of Mrs. Rogness, at Eagle Grove Thursday afternoon. Others attending the services from this community included Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Rogness, Art and Margrete, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Donovan Click, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Severson, Mr. and Mrs. Lorelle Vorrie, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Burger, Mr. and Mrs. Harold N. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. John Morgan, Mrs. Jay Ersland, Mrs. John Carter, Mrs. Curtiss Pederson.
