BRAIN ABCESS PROVES FATAL TO R. FISHER

Well Known Wright County Farmer Dies in Hospital at Rochester, Minn.

Ralph Fisher, 53, died at the hospital at Rochester Minn, Tuesday afternoon. He had been taken there for treatment for an abscess on the brain. He had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Fisher died before an operation could be attempted.

He is survived by his wife and nine children, five sons and four daughters. His aged father, A. Fisher also survives. The surviving brothers are, Wm. Fisher, Guy Fisher, Lon Fisher and Dr. Frank Fisher, all of Eagle Grove; Albert Fisher, of White Fish, Montana, and Myron of Chadron, Neb.; one sister also survives, Mrs. W. C. Smith of Eagle Grove.

Funeral Friday Afternoon

The remains were brought to Eagle Grove Wednesday afternoon and taken to the Foil & Wilson Undertaking parlor. The funeral services will be held at the farm home near Clarion, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Clarion cemetery.

Obituary

Ralph Fisher, son of Albert and Katherine Fisher was born Nov. 27, 1876, near the city of Blomberg, Ill., and moved with his parents to Hamilton county, Iowa, at the age of four years. At the age of eight years he moved to Wright county where he lived until the present. For thirty one years he has farmed the C. H. Moore estate and previous to that time he had been on the same place with his father for thirteen years.

He was married to Edith Cooper on Oct. 17, 1897. His death occurred on Tuesday evening, June 10, at the Colonial hospital, Rochester, Minn., at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 13 days. He is survived by his wife and nine, children, two children having preceded him in death, and ten grandchildren.

The children are Mrs. Clarence Cole, Humboldt, Mrs. John Keeling, Belmond, Miss Blanche Fisher, Mason City, Lee Fisher, Goodell, Arthur Fisher, Independence and Frank, Russell, Joseph and Lucille at home.

He also leaves six brothers, two sisters and his aged father, 89 years old. The brothers are, Guy, Lon, Will and Frank of Eagle Grove; Myron of Chadron, Neb.; Alvin of Oakland, Calif.; and the sisters are Mrs. Nellie Abel of Whitefish, Mont, and Mrs. Dora Smith of Eagle Grove.

Mr. Fisher was a kind and loving husband and father. His love for and his winning ways with children caused him to have many friends among the children. His kind and thoughtful ways caused him to have a great many friends., He was exceedingly patient even to the very last. In the midst of his suffering he was patient and very thoughtful of the comfort of those who cared for him, not wanting them to sacrifice for his sake. He will be greatly missed by the family, relatives and his many friends. The entire community extends a deep and most heartfelt sympathy to the loved ones.

Funeral services were held Friday at two o'clock at the Congregational church at Clarion in charge of Rev. Ostmeyer of the Clarion M. E. church.

Interment was held at the Clarion cemetery.

A number of friends from here attended the funeral of Ralph Fisher at Clarion Friday. Among them were: Wm. Flower, Evert McGrath, Earl Hall, Will Copp and Messers and Mesdames A. J. Baldner, Al Watkins, M. Allaway and W. E. Floyd.
