Maude Fisher Rites in Methodist church

Funeral services were held for Miss Maude Fisher Monday afternoon at the Methodist church with the Rev. Roy Cox officiating.

Miss Fisher died Friday, March 7 in the Hamilton county hospital in Webster City.

She was taken to the hospital in February, but had been in falling health. She had had surgery several times, and was hospitalized previously in Fort Dodge during the past four years of her illness.

She is survived by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Harvey Evans and Mrs. George Atwood of Woolstock and Ralph Fisher of Britt.

Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary

Miss Maude May Fisher, daughter of John M. and Marion Fisher, was born in Troy township, near Eagle Grove, Iowa on March 1, 1889 and passed away March 7, 1958, having just passed her 69th birthday. She lived all her life in Wright county, Iowa. She attended the Eagle Grove public schools, was a life long member of the Methodist church and took a very active interest in the organizations and the work of the church.

Miss Fisher had been in falling health for the past four years, and had been confined to her home since the 14th day of last July. On February 18 she was taken to the Webster City hospital where she passed away peacefully last Friday. Through all her long illness she has been a patient sufferer, grateful to every one who ministered to her in her last Illness.

Surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Harvey Evans, Woolstock, Iowa, Mrs. George Atwood, also of Woolstock, and Ralph Fisher of Britt, Iowa, and seven nieces and nephews. One brother Raymond Fisher preceded her in death in May, 1946
