John Walsh Rites Monday Morning
Funeral services for John Walsh, 57, were held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart church with the Rev Maurice Mullan officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Walsh was taken very ill in his room at the Broadway Hotel Friday morning and moved by ambulance to the University hospital in Iowa City. He died there the same day.
Surviving Mr. Walsh is one brother, Frank Walsh of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
