Funeral services will be at 9:30 Friday morning in Sacred Heart Church for Mrs. S. M. Reider, who died Sunday night in a hospital at Sacramento, Calif.

Mrs. Reider, mother of John Reider of this city, had surgery last Thursday, and was making a satisfactory recovery until she had a heart attack on Sunday. The remains will reach here early Friday morning.

Mrs. Reider a former long time Eagle Grove resident, had resided in Sacramento for many years following the death of her husband who was an engineer on the Northern Iowa Division of the Chicago and North Western Rail Road.

In addition to her son John, Mrs. Reider is survived by one daughter Gloria, Mrs. Edwin Lonning, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Dr. Allan Reider.

Mrs. Lonning and her husband's mother, Mrs. Eleanor Lonning of Sacramento will arrive here Thursday morning.

The pastor, Rev. J. J. Brickley, will have charge of the funeral mass and burial will be in the family lot at Calvary Cemetery.
