Mark R. Dutcher, Woolstock, Iowa, died Friday, August 16, 2002, at his home, at the age, of 49.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; son, Matt Dutcher, Woolstock; daughter, Melissa Dutcher, Des Moines, Iowa; one granddaughter, Abbie Malone; his mother, Lillian Dutcher, Webster City, Iowa; two sisters, Diana Bennington, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Nancy Ferrari, Pilot Mound, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents.

Mark Rollie Dutcher, son of Rollie and Lillian (Lundquist) Dutcher, was born March 31, 1953, at Fort Dodge, Iowa. He lived on a farm near the McGuire Bend Church at Dayton, Iowa. In 1960, the family moved to Webster City, Iowa. He received his education in the Webster City schools, graduating in 1971. He worked at McMurray Hatchery and Mertz Engineering, both in Webster City. On April 8, 1972, he married Joyce Raska at the McGuire Bend Church at Dayton. The couple resided in Webster City. In 1975, they moved to Woolstock and he started employment with Kueen's Trailer Ranch in Webster City. He worked there for 22 years. In 1998, he returned to Mertz Engineering. He was a member of the Woolstock Community Fire Department and the Woolstock Wild Bunch.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, August 20, at 3 p.m., at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City with Reverend Mike Morgan officiating.

Foster Funeral Home of Webster City was in charge of arrangements.
