Mrs. Fisher was born in Columbia County Pennsylvania Jan. 31st, 1844, and died at Eagle Grove Ia. Nov. 20th, 1907.

She was married Oct. 17th, 1859 to Mr. A. Fisher, a childhood and school associate. To this union were, born eight sons and four daughters, all living except one girl who died at 18 months of age in Illinois.

Mr. Fisher served in the army through the Civil War and at its close in March 1865 moved his family to Illinois, and in 1881 came to Webster City, Ia., and in 1885 moved to Eagle Grove township, Wright Co and a few years later moved into the city of Eagle Grove where her death occurred.

The funeral was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Smith Friday, Nov. 22nd, at 2 P. M., Rev. A. J. Landers conducting the services. There was a profusion of flowers contributed by loving and sympathizing friends, a tribute to a faithful wife, devoted mother and kind neighbor.

There are eleven living children all of whom were present at the funeral except her son Albert; who recently moved to North Dakota. The interment was in Rose Hill cemetery. The sympathy of a large circle friends is extended the relatives their great bereavement.
