JUANITA MINNIE FORD
Juanita Minnie Holzer, was born on February 7, 1903, the daughter of Charles and Jennie Stevens Holzer at Galesburg, Kan. She received her education in the Kansas school system. She was united in marriage to Fredrick T. Ford on January 5, 1927 at Girard, Kan. Fredrick died in 1976. Juanita was associated with the Wright County Opportunity Center for mentally handicapped children for more than 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, and was active within the church circle.

Juanita Ford died at the Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home at Parsons, Kan., where she had been a resident for three months previous to her death on October 9, 1989. She was 86. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Ted, George and Dale; one daughter, Emma Thelda Ford; one brother and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Eugene, Floodwood, Minn.; and Bob, Deerfield Beach, Fla:; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Louise) Peak, Parsons, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at East Hill Cemetery, Erie, Kan., on Thursday, October 12 at 11 a.m. Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons, Kansas was in charge of the arrangements.
