Fred Ford funeral Tuesday p.m.
Fred Ford, 76, Eagle Grove farmer, was dead on arrival at the Humboldt Hospital, Saturday morning. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at the Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral Home in charge of Rev. H. W. Schiller. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Ford is survived by four sons and one daughter, Bobby and Dale of Eagle Grove; George of Boca Raton, Fla., Lowell of Denver, Colo, and Mrs. Glen Peak of Parsons, Kans. Other survivors are nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Marcia White and Mrs. Lenora Cowden, both of Ulysses, Kans.

Fredrick Theodore Ford was born August 20, 1899 in Erie, Kans. to Oliver and Rebecca Treadway Ford. He died on Saturday, May 1, 1976, in Humboldt, la., after reaching the age of 76 years, eight months, and 15 days. Mr. Ford received his education in Erie, Kans. On January 5, 1926 he was united in marriage to Juanita Holzer. In 1931 they moved south of Eagle Grove where they farmed. At the present time he was living on a farm near Vincent.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Theodore; one daughter, Emma; one grandson, Teddy; three brothers, William, Blaine, and Lewis; and one sister, Fannie Floyd. He leaves to mourn his departure: four sons - George, Boca Raton, Fla.; Bobby, Eagle Grove; Lowell, Aurora, Colo.; Dale, Eagle Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Glen Peak, Parsons, Kans.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters Marcia White and Lenora Cowden, Ulysses, Kans.

Funeral services were held at Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral Home in Eagle Grove on Tuesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
