Former Resident Buried Tuesday
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral home for Mrs. Wm. Cole of South Pekin, Ill., who died there Sunday. Mrs. Cole was an aunt of Mrs. Wm. Fisher, Mrs. A. F. Lukensmeyer, Frank and Will Cole of this city.

Mrs. Cole, whose maiden name was Louise Perkins, was born at Oswego, N. Y., in June 1882 [December 1859]. She was united in marriage [March 29, 1882] to William Cole at Eagle Grove. Mr. Cole passed away in 1922 and since that time she has made her home with her daughters, Mrs. Clara Sprau, at South Pekin, and Mrs. Katherine Sebree at Canton, Ill. Rev. Albert S. Kilbourn had charge of the funeral services and burial was made in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Willard Sebree and daughter, Louise, of Canton, Il1., Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Sprau and Wilma of South Pekin, Ill., Dr. and Mrs. C. G. Cole and Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Cole, Elizabeth and Joan Cole, and George Graham of Ames.
