EAGLE GROVE, IA. - Services for Leo J. Feeley, 56, of 1440 Sixty-second St., who died of cancer Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery here.

Born in Dakota City, Mr. Feeley lived in Eagle Grove until moving to Des Moines in 1967. He was a salesman for an automotive finishing company and a member of the St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Glory; two sons, Michael and Nicholas, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Michelle Ristau of Eagle Grove and Diana DeBor of Moravia; his mother, Mabel Feeley of Eagle Grove; six brothers, the Rev. John Feeley of New Guinea, Elmer of Union, Thomas of Boone, Guy of Fort Dodge, Edward of Eagle Grove, and Joseph of Ackley, Minn.; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Polk County Cancer Fund.

A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home.

Leo James Feeley, the son of Thomas and Mabel Kadolph Feeley, was born at Dakota City, Iowa on Dec. 14, 1927. As a small child he moved with his parents and brothers to Eagle Grove, where he grew up. He graduated from the Eagle Grove High School and the Eagle Grove Junior College. He was united in marriage with Glory L. Terwilliger on Feb 3, 1951 at Humboldt, Iowa. To this union were born four children, Michael, Nickolas, Michelle and Diana, and the family lived in Eagle Grove. He was employed at the Lloyd Bachel Auto Body Shop and also worked at the D and B, Dahlberg and Christensen garages in Eagle Grove as an auto body repairman. He also owned and operated a body repair shop in Clarion until 1967, when the family moved to Des Moines. For the past 10 years, he had been a salesman for the Roger's Automotive Finishes Company. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

Leo died early Saturday morning, May 26, 1984, at Mercy Medical Center Hospital in Des Moines of cancer at the age of 56 years, five months and 12 days.

He is survived by his wife, Glory L. Feeley of Des Moines; two daughters, Michelle, Mrs. Rick Ristau of Eagle Grove and Diana, Mrs. Steve DeBor of Moravia; two sons, Michael T. Feeley and Nickolas J. Feeley, both of Des Moines; his mother, Mabel Feeley of the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove; four grandchildren; six brothers: Rev. John T. Feeley S.V.D. of New Guinea; Elmer J. Feeley of Union, Joseph D. Feeley of Ackley, Minn., Thomas P. Feeley of Boone, Guy E. Feeley of Fort Dodge and Edward J. Feeley of Eagle Grove.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas.

Funeral services for Leo J. Feeley, 56, of Des Moines, formerly of Eagle Grove, were held on Tuesday, May 29, 1984 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. Rev. Fr. Paul R. Peters was the officiant and burial was in the Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Rosary services were held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home Monday evening at 8 p.m.
