May 23, 1898 --- September 29, 1919

Miss Florence Derscheid, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Derscheid, died at the home of her parents, Monday afternoon. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the home. Rev. Hugh F. Moore having charge of the services. Complete obituary next week.

Florence Fern Derscheid was born in Eagle Grove, May 23, 1898, and passed to the great beyond Sept. 29, 1919, being 21 years, 4 months and 7 days old.

She lived and spent her life in her parents home, attending high school in Eagle Grove for two years, which course was never completed on account of her poor health.

Besides a host of friends, she leaves to mourn her untimely death, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Derscheid, three sisters, Esther, Pearl and Helen, and three brothers, Harley, Glen and Robert.
