Mary Dignan Bangs
17 March 1873 ---- 29 December 1955

Last Rites Dec. 31st For Mrs. Mary Bangs
Last rites for Mrs. Mary Bangs, 82, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kastler Funeral home. Rev Roy Cox pastor of the Methodist church officiated, and interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs Bangs died Dec. 29th at the Askvig-Crickmore Nursing home where she had been a patient for a number of weeks. Previously she spent about six months in Fort Dodge hospitals during her last illness. Mrs. Bangs is survived by two daughters. Mrs. G. A. Streitz of Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. James Elliott of North Hollywood Calif., who were here during their mother's critical illness. Mrs. Bangs is also survived by two sisters Mrs. Francis Newburn, and Mrs. Leslie Clifton of Columbus, Ohio. Attending the services from out of town were G. A. Streitz of Omaha, Nebraska, Earl Newburn and son of Rushmore Minn., Mr. and Mrs. John Franzen and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Belknap of Fort Dodge.
