Clarence Rossiter Belknap
20 August 1874 ---- 20 November 1958

C. R. Belknap Rites Monday

C. R. Belknap, 84, 818 Douglas Ave., died about midnight last night at Mary Greeley Hospital.Born in Goldfield, he came to Ames in 1915. He was a member of the First Methodist Church. Mr. Belknap is survived by a son, Willis, Humboldt; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Wyllie, Oceanside, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Pride of Sunland, Calif., two grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Keith of Ames and Mrs. B. W. Agard of Seattle, Wash., and a brother, C. E. Belknap, Ceylon Minn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia [Dignan].

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Pinnell will officiate. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery. The Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
