Mrs. Ben Burass [Buraas], 83, died Sept. 12 at her Eagle Grove farm home after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenneth Torvik, pastor, Friday at 2 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kastler Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Burass [Buraas] was born Olga Amelia Christopherson at Onawa, Iowa June 14, 1878 [1883]. At the age of 8 she moved with her family to Thor where her father was a well-known funeral director for several years. She was married to Ben Burass [Buraas], Nov. 28, 1918 by Pastor T. J. Severtson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Christopherson and Martha, nee Paulsrud.

She is survived by her husband Ben, a brother Cornelius Christopherson of Long Beach, Calif, and by one nephew Rolf of Saudi Arabia.
