Trevor John Nelson, infant son of John and Tina Nelson of Clarion, Iowa, passed away shortly after his birth Sunday, April 21, 1996 at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee. Pastor Jeffrey Krueger will officiate and burial will be in the Cherokee Memory Gardens Cemetery, Cherokee. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his patents, John and Tina (Igou) Nelson, Clarion; a half sister, Shelby Phipps, Cherokee; his grandparents: Harry and Joyce Gross, Cherokee; and Joe and Pam Nelson, Marcus; a grandmother Jean Igou, Onawa, Iowa; great-grandparents: Alva and LuVerne Nelson, and Elva Igou, Marcus, Iowa; Mike and Elaine Cates, Cherokee, and Iva Albrant, Wallingford, Iowa, great-great-great-grandparents: Elsie Miller, Paullina, Iowa; and Margaret Nelson, Marcus, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler, on March 18, 1995.
