July 25, 1880 --- March 20, 1955

Mrs. John Jotten, 74, died suddenly Sunday at the home of her granddaughter in Milaca, Minn. She had gone there Friday with her son-in-law, Roe Armour to spend the weekend visiting when she suffered a heart attack.

Services will be held at the Wilson funeral home in Eagle Grove Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock and at the St. John's Lutheran church near Kanawha at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Perry Sampson officiating. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nels Jensen of Chicago; Mrs. Ernest Thorsund [Storesund] of Des Moines and Mrs. Rose [Roe] Armour of Clarion, and two sons, Harlan Jotten of Clarion and Jesse Jotten of Eagle Grove; two brothers, H. B. Thompson, Eagle Grove and O. Thompson, Los Angeles, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jotten died unexpectedly Sunday morning in Milaca, Minn. She was buried in Holmes Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Jesse Jotten of Eagle Grove, Harlan Jotten of Clarion, three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Storesund of Des Moines; Mrs. Roe Armour, Clarion, Mrs. Neil Jensen, Bellevue, Ill. Also two brothers, H. B. Thompson of Eagle Grove and O. Thompson of Los Angeles, Calif.
