November 5, 1909 --- August 29, 1994

Charles A. Bohy was born at Amboy, Ill. on November 5, 1909. He was the son of Louis P. and Clara M. Kahlbach Bohy. As a child, the family moved to Woolstock, Iowa, where he grew to manhood and received his education. On August 13, 1938, he and Edna V. Claude were united in marriage at Webster City, Iowa. They farmed in the Woolstock area. In 1962, they moved to Clarion. He worked for Jack's Sinclair and worked with Elmer Brandt in the city parks. For the past several days he had been a patient at North Iowa Mercy Health Care Center in Mason City where he died on Monday morning, August 29, 1994.

He is survived by: His wife, Edna; two daughters, Marilyn Finnell and Barbara Hoffman, both of Des
Moines, Iowa; 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and two sisters, Esther Johnson and Rose Malaise, both of Eagle Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, John and Henry; 3 sisters, Margaret Hilpipre, Catherine Malaise and Martha Best, and a grandson, Charles Louis.

Services were held from the Chapel of Willim Funeral Home in Clarion on Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Charles Kellogg of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the French Cemetery in Woolstock.
