Jeffrey Allen Schiller was born on May 7, 1956, the son of Rev. Herbert W. and Elaine Albers Schiller at Byron, Nebraska. He attended Eagle Grove schools and graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1975. He then went on to receive his degree in auto mechanics from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. He was united in marriage to Sharon Riley, daughter of Keith and Beverly Riley of Eagle Grove, on November 12, 1976, at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in rural Eagle Grove. He was employed as a mechanic for Lyle's Ford in Eagle Grove.

Jeffrey Allen Schiller died in his home on September 1, 1994. He had attained the age of 38 years, 3 months, and 24 days. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jonathon and Jennifer; parents, Reverend Herbert W. and Elaine Schiller, all of Eagle Grove; brother, Steven Schiller and wife Connie of Charles City; and sister Julie (Mrs. Doug) Thompson of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Christine. He was a member of the Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove.

Funeral Services for Jeffrey Allen Schiller were held on Saturday, September 3, 1994, at the Samuel
Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. The Reverend Carlton Shaw officiated at the 10:30 a.m. services and committal services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Willim Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
