Mrs. Maude Platt Ensey died Friday, Dec. 6th. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Walter Ross in charge. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary

Maude Melissa Platt, daughter of Charles P. and Harriett M. Platt, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, June 20, 1885.

She attended the public schools of Eagle Grove and graduated from the Eagle Grove high school with the class of 1904. As a child she attended the Congregational Sunday School, later uniting with the Episcopal church.

She was married to Richard E. Ensey in 1908 and for many years lived in New York City. Later they lived in Minneapolis. Mrs. Ensey returned to Eagle Grove about eighteen years ago where she has since made her home.

After an illness of many months, she died at the age of 61 years, 5 months, and 16 days, December 6, 1946.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George Kershaw of Linbrook, Long Island, N. Y., and Miss Mae Platt of Eagle Grove; a sister-in-law Mrs. Everett Platt of Pekin, Ill.; nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
